The IRL Frame was a collaborative project between Tomorrow Lab, Planeta, and GIPHY to imagine how GIFs could be made physical. The result was an impossibly-thin, Polaroid-sized display and magnetic charging cradle.

Built from machined aluminum and powered by a 1 mm thin battery, integrated motion sensors awaken an OLED screen to show a 20 second clip. And just like that, the physical manifestation of a GIF was born.
