GIPHY Cam

The GIPHY Cam is an exploration of what hardware by GIPHY would be like, and how GIFs could be captured in the real world.

Powered by a Raspberry Pi Zero, the camera combines Soviet-era industrial design with playful user interactions.

A press of the shutter button captures GIFs at 15 fps, while a custom haptic engine creates the signature tick-tick noise from vintage camcorders.
